Derek Trucks is amazing. i have seen him live several times and he truly is amazing. For those of you that think he just plays blues, get a clue. He is the most versitile guitarist around right now. Listen to his version of greensleaves - jazz listen to Sahib Teri Bandi - Middle eastern influence….he does to the guitar what Bela Fleck does to the banjo. This guy does not play straight blues…Maybe there is a reason Clapton has been taking him around the world with him in tour. .

One of my patients came in my office with severe nasal congestion and asked if I thought using a neti pot might help. She along with millions of others had learned about it from Dr. Oz on Oprah and was interested. So was I. Here's what I can tell you about neti pots. Neti pots are part of the ancient Indian yoga tradition and now they're going mainstream. The idea is to wash out the nasal secretions and allergens and open up the sinuses. The nasal cavity is the first line of defense against airborne infection and cleansing it may theoretically limit colds and sinus infections as well as relieve dryness. The neti pot is a small pitcher with an opening on top and a spout to place in the nostril. You fill it with warm salt water-1/4 teaspoon of salt to 8 ounces of water.
Port Angeles man accused of Craigslist scam
Police have arrested a Port Angeles man for stealing thousands from users of the Web site Craigslist.org. Investigators said the man used bad checks to buy diamond rings on the site, scamming a number of victims from Seattle to Everett. It all began with one engagement ring. A Snoqualmie man posted an ad on Craigslist, asking for $5,400 for the ring. Police say the Port Angeles man saw the posting as an opportunity to cash in. "He portrayed himself as a jewelry broker from Elegance Jewelry Design and so the victim met with him (and) they looked at the ring through a jewelry glass," said Rebecca Munson with the Snoqualmie Police Department. The two struck a deal at $5,200 and the suspect wrote the seller a business check.
